MAY’S MEETING DEMONSTRATOR: Joanne Randall TITLE OF DEMONSTRATION: “Seasonal Splendour” - This was a change of title.

We were delighted Joanne Randall, who qualified as a demonstrator only last October. We had a lovely evening with some beautiful flowers and foliage. Just some of the flowers that were used were the ‘memory lane’ rose, the wonderful ‘café’ germini and the magnificent peach avalanche rose. We were certainly treated to a wonderful variety and array of colour.

COMPETITION: In this month’s competition the members had to incorporate fabric. As you will see from the photos, the members did extremely well, with each and every design being completely different. We thank Joanne for taking the time to judge and give comments on the cards provided.

Joint 1st – Liz Lewis & Cindy Hardy both with 10 points

Joint 2nd – Pauline Green, Audrey Harris and Sandra Price all with 9 points

Joint 3rd Anne Garneys & Dawn Bibby-Caroen both with 8 ½ points

Liz Lewis was again awarded Best in Competition so well done Liz.

There were no Novice or Intermediate entries this month.

Next month’s competition is an imposed design and the list of flowers and mechanics that can be used are on the competition sheet that was handed out with your membership cards. If anyone needs a sheet, please email Cindy and she can email you one. So no excuses ladies!!
