MARCH‘S MEETING DEMONSTRATOR: BRENDA EYRES TITLE OF DEMONSTRATION: “A Taste of Spring” We were delighted to welcome back our Area Chairman Brenda Eyres once again to demonstrate for us. Although she has retired from demonstrating officially, we did manage to persuade her to come back and see us this month. We had some wonderful arrangements as usual, with some wonderful flowers and foliage, much of which was from her own garden. Many of the lucky raffle winners were able to take the containers too which was a bonus as Brenda no longer needs them.

As well as the 6 super arrangements, we were given some very useful tips, as well as lots of information on events etc. for our area of NAFAS. She told us that there is a new website for the East of England Area which is WWW.NAFAS-EAST.COM with lots of useful information on it for members. She did run through a lot of the events that are coming up, but rather than list them all here, if you visit the above website you will have all the information that you need.

COMPETITION: This month’s competition title was “Incorporate a Kitchen Utensil.

We only had Advanced class entries again this month which was a shame, but we did have some very well thought out designs.

We really want to keep the competition going on club nights, so please do have a go. We now have comment cards which the judge can fill out if they want to, which can be really useful for novices and advanced alike.
